Plastic pollution has always been a problem to the environment. As we know, plastic pollution is caused by the accumulation of the plastic products in the environment. It has never been solved and plastic pollution is slowly destroying us.

Plastic City, a non-verbal shadow play presented by Plasticity Theatre Troupe that emphasizes and talks about the problem of the overwhelming amount of disposable plastic products in our world. The large usage of plastic products indeed harm our earth as these plastics are non-biodegradable, hence it will slowly destroy our mother nature.

Plastic City is a contemporary shadow play that uses only up-cycled objects as the “main element” of the play. Within this 45 minutes of the play, it allows the audience to have their own — imagination. Thinking what’s going on throughout the play. By using these ‘up-cycled’ objects, the team hopes they can make changes to the world. Hence, saving the world.

Plastic City is an education play that teaches us, the people to save the world, start from ourselves.
