新世代是什麽？對上一個世代的人而言，這有可能是一個難以接受的新形式；但是，如果上世代的長輩也以同樣眼光來看待他們，想必也是一個讓長輩難以接受的新趨勢吧？重要的，並不是形式，而是形式背後的那一份人性，或是作爲人的那一份創作衝動、推動力的主要動力。90年代網路科技所帶來的新可能，加上20幾年來，在科技發展上的努力，藝術製作與創作都有極大的轉變。以前可能花上10年的業績，在現今社會，只需要1、2年時間就可以辦到了。這不但給年輕創作者們許多發聲的機會，也給他們更大的競爭壓力。他們的壓力來自自己，從創作水平到知名度，以致金錢上的成就，促使他們更加努力去做他們認爲對的事。

馬來西亞華語劇場有自己獨特的風格，以話劇為墊，戲劇為主導方向，實驗為進步管道，加上馬來西亞獨特之多元文化的交融，此風格是世界華語劇場中，難得一見的美學。7月11號至12號，於Damansara 表演藝術中心，馬來西亞劇團馬戲團繼首次角逐本地舞台劇“奧斯卡”戲炬獎，即榮獲“最佳原創劇本”後，馬戲團今年以真人真事改編，花費兩年時間構思新劇，打造本地難得一見的黑暗劇場，名為《不見不散》；由深劇場工作者愛美麗亞執導（Amelia）。
